“Wonderful, luxurious and convenient accommodation”
Perfect location just on the edge of Keswick. Also very convenient to locations in the Lakes. Our room 15 was spacious and had all amenities and comforts we could have hoped for. Spectacular views, wonderful breakfasts! We loved having choices for the hot breakfast including several suitable for non- meat eaters. Hosts, David and Val were lovely and helpful. “Exceptional in all ways”
Everything exceeded expectations. The rooms were new, clean, efficient and lovely. Everything had been thought of - finally hooks for jackets, enough closet and shelf storage, and 2 suitcase holders, and for my husband enough plugs for his phone, iPad, laptop, etc. David was extremely helpful in telling us where to go, provided maps, suggestions for walks, restaurant information, and even brought our car to us from a tight parking space. We were given a lovely friendly welcome on arrival. The spacious room (15 - Junior suit) was airy, fresh and extremely clean and we had a lovely view of the mountains from our winow. “An exceptional facility with excellent service”
We chose this hotel based on the recommendation in Rick Steves' England book, and its proximity to the Keswick bus terminal. We were more than satisfied with the facility, and the services that David and Valerie provided were outstanding.. David recommended several great places to eat, and also supplied information about hiking trails and bus service to other lakes in the area. The breakfasts were cooked to order, and provided a nice variety of choices. The room was very comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Having stayed at a number of B&Bs in Keswick over the years, we luckily discovered Howe Keld a few years ago and it has become our hotel of choice.
Lovely rooms, no matter which you get. Clean and modern with attention to detail and no compromise to quality throughout.
