Though our smallest room ( 11.5 sq m ) on the second floor it loses none of the quality featured in its larger siblings! It has a standard size double bed with the finest hand-sewn 2000 pocket sprung mattresses filled with cotton, silk and cashmere – luxury of the sort usually to be found in 4 and 5 star hotels.Much of the furniture is the creation of local craftsman Danny Frost, using local, naturally felled hardwoods including bed heads, cupboard doors, dressing table tops, bedside tables and coffee tables, all compelling features.
The carpet is woven using wool from the hardiest Lake District sheep, the legendary Herdwick. Farrow and Ball colours have been used on the walls to complement the warmth of the wood.

The en suite is compact ( 2.2 sq m) with a small 600 mm quadrant thermostatic mixer shower that provides a hot constant pressure water flow. It is designed in the same style as all our other en suites with some lovely Kirkstone slate on the floor.
