Howe Keld Directions when on Foot
Howe Keld is located in the market town of Keswick in the Lake District. It is in a perfect location for walkers of all ability to explore the surrounding area and fells.
From the pedestrianised town centre walk towards Lake Derwentwater along Lake Road. Once through the pedestrian foot tunnel that leads to Hope and Crow Parks turn right and Howe Keld is 50 metres on the right.
If you arrive by bus you will stop at the bus station outside Booths supermarket. From here it is a 5 minute walk to Howe Keld to the right along the main road.

The Lake District is known for some of the most adventurous and challenging fell walks in England with its high mountain peaks and rolling valleys. Along with the walks for the adventurous, there are many trails and paths that wind up, down and around lakes and small hills that are possible for everyone from families with small children to the elderly.
