Further South of Keswick
The 555 bus south (and variations) will take you to any number of places of interest. Grasmere is the home of William Wordsworth with Dove Cottage and The Wordsworth Museum. Rydal Mount and beautiful gardens with tearooms is just a little further along the route. Also at Grasmere is the famous Gingerbread Shop - the best gingerbread in the world!
Ambleside, Windermere and Kendal also have lots to offer including lakeside attractions, The World of Beatrix Potter, K Village Outlet Shopping, Lakeland Plastics, Art Galleries and Exhibitions.
