Motionhouse Dance presents Captive: Captive is a breathtaking and intoxicating dance piece performed by four dancers inside a large cage. Disorientated and shaken, they use all of their skill and instinct to survive a dazzling performance at breakneck speed. Powerfully physical, emotionally charged and an extraordinary blend of dance and aerial work, Captive is inspired by Rainer Maria Rilke’s poem The Panther.
La Famille Goldini presents Travelling Palace: Travelling Palace is a family cabaret show that falls somewhere between circus, cabaret and fairground amusement.
A cabaret act that’s been passed down from generation to generation has recently closed its doors but, never wishing to give up, Mr & Mrs Goldini have hired a trailer and turn up in West Cumbria to continue the legacy of the fantastic show.
