A QUICK INTRODUCTION TO YOUR HOWE KELD HOSTS
Laura and Jerome have taken over Howe Keld, along with their two kids Eddy (9) and Emilie (7) 4 years ago. After owning a restaurant for 10 years in Verbier, an alpine town in the Swiss alps, they decided it was time for a change.
Jerome was born and grew up in Verbier where he became a trained chef. After working in numerous busy restaurants in Canada and Switzerland, he decided to return to Verbier to take over the family business, ‘Le Caveau’. Laura, who is from Macclesfield in Cheshire met Jerome while working in Switzerland. The rest is history!
Laura says “ Verbier was a fantastic place in winter and summer, but we were looking for a more stable environment for bringing up kids, whilst still being able to encourage the love of the outdoors.” So they decided to make a big leap and move over to England, where they found Keswick to be the perfect place.
“Keswick is a great town with so much going on for all ages and with beautiful scenery to explore.” When Laura and Jerome found Howe Keld they knew that this was a special place, and would be a great opportunity for them. It is already a great business and with so much potential to grow even more.
